Join us for an evening of song, story and musical exploration. Tubatsi Mpho Moloi & Senna-Marie have put together an intimate show mimicking the seasonal branches as they take to the stage bare: each artist performing solo, outside of their band collectives. Song, instrument and voice; they will share in the story of their original compositions, joined by archivist & vinyl DJ Nyuaist for an immersive night of soul-stirring music that promises to heart-warm.

Tubatsi Mpho Moloi, a captivating South African artist, his fusion folk sound influenced by blues, jazz, rock, and African folk music. His stage presence and experimental performances contribute to the unique and mesmerizing nature of his music, creating a lasting impact on audiences.

Senna-Marie:

Senna-Marie’s music, characterized by intricate guitar melodies and thoughtful lyricism, pays homage to '70s folk while embracing art-pop and jazz sensibilities. Her captivating vocal presence and thought-provoking lyricism are enchanting.

Nyuaist:

Archivist & Vinyl Dj

Kapula aka Nyauist currently based between Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa. His practice involves social experimentation and Archiving in the form of installations, objects, visuals, live performances and sound art. He seeks to explore ideas that connect people, interviewing the relationship between art, music and resistance. His techniques are bountiful and his sonic excursions include the Post Chimurenga Postures, Somsocosmos My Favourite Sounds - September Jive, Pungwe Nights, Gule Project an ongoing research focused Dance and the transformative power of the Mask.
