Welcome back, Searchers, and a warm embrace to the new faces joining us for the first time!
Nestled within the farm of Utopia’s majestic charm, bordered by the tranquil Swellendam countryside, Search is not just a festival but a four-day odyssey that intertwines soulful music, communal spirit, the embrace of nature, and a celebration of life's "yes, and..." philosophies. This is where we care deeply, dance freely, and love loudly under the Western Cape’s endless sky to ring in the new year.
"Search for Illumination" – Are you ready to redefine your journey with us? This year's theme is the pursuit of light in all its metaphorical glory. Let's revel in the lightness of being, reflect beams of positivity, and shine – but not so bright that we eclipse the light of others! Search is about participation, after all. Many hands make light work (literally).

Despite rising costs for everything in life, we've kept ticket prices as close to 2022 as possible. We also honour our local roots with special rates for African citizens and have options for those who can contribute more to sustain our collective adventure.

CAMPING & ACCOMMODATION
General Camping: Free
General camping is on us – if you want a good spot, you better come early! You’ll have access to lovely ablutions, grassy lawns and even relative silence to rest your weary head after a satisfying day. Please take note, no cars are allowed in General Camping!
Car Camping (parking included): R100
Go with this option if you plan to camp with your vehicle. Remember, Campervans and other live-in vehicles fall under this category, and no additional parking pass is needed for them. Not as many amenities here but if your car is your true love, this is your love nest.
Pre-Pitched Accommodation: R1500 – R2500
For those without gear or who’d rather skip the setup, we’ve got you covered. Our pre-pitched tents are your hassle-free haven. These tents can house 2 people each for 3 nights – sorted! It’s not glamping, but it sure is convenient!

PARKING
General Parking: R50
Designed for those who wish to park their vehicles in a secure area away from the camping zones. General Camping is a massive vibe closest to all the best amenities such as shady spots, ablutions, community activities and food court in close proximity!
Remember, Campervans and other live-in vehicles automatically fall under Car Camping – that's the pass you need!
BUS TRANSPORT
Shuttle Bus Service:
For our eco-conscious Searchers or those sans carriage, we've set up a dedicated bus service at rates that will make your wallet sing (and Intercape envy). Direct from Cape Town CBD to the heart of Utopia - simple, sustainable, and Search-approved. Just make sure to book your ticket right here on Quicket! Spots are limited.
