Calling all Tech Founders, Investors and Ecosystem Enablers! We’re excited to announce the next meetup of Startup Club ZA in Cape Town.

ABOUT:

Startup Club ZA is the country’s fastest growing tech startup community, connecting top founders, investors and other key stakeholders to foster collaboration, learning and opportunity. Our upcoming event on Thursday, 13 July 2023 will feature formidable guests Bevan Ducasse (Founder and CEO, Yoyo) and Greg Chen (Founder and CEO, Mobiz) for a night of invaluable insights and engaging like-minded people in the tech ecosystem.

THE GUESTS:

• Bevan Ducasse is the co-founder and CEO of Yoyo (formerly wiGroup), the country's leading customer rewards and loyalty platform. Founded in 2007, the business (now headquartered out of London) has grown to over 200 people and serves more than 5 million monthly active users across 12 countries. Since inception, Yoyo has attracted notable investors including Crossfin, Investec UK and Virgin Global.

• Greg Chen is the founder & CEO of Mobiz, the fastest-growing SMS marketing platform on the continent. Founded in 2014, the company has grown to a team of 38 and counts hundreds of leading local and US brands among its clientele. Mobiz has attracted more than $5m in venture capital, including notable investors HAVAÍC, Launch Africa, E-Squared Ventures and Endeavor, among others.

NEED-TO-KNOW:

• Tickets are mandatory for admission and your ticket does not include a plus-one.
• Attendance is capped to 200 pax. Once we have reached capacity, please email us at team@startupclubza.com and we will revert should space become available.
• Light catering and drinks will be provided on the night.
• PARKING (NB) is available across the road at WEMBLEY SQUARE SHOPPING CENTRE, 1 SOLAN ROAD ENTRANCE, GARDENS, CAPE TOWN. Once parked, attendees must walk across to the AMAZON DEVELOPMENT CENTRE, WEMBLEY SQUARE 2, GARDENS, CAPE TOWN (WESLEY STREET ENTRANCE).
• Tickets are not refundable, but transferrable up to 24 hours before the event. Our team cannot facilitate transfers thereafter. To transfer your ticket, please notify us by email and include the name/email address of your replacement.
• IMPORTANT - on account of popularity and in order to grow a good attendance culture, "no shows" without prior notice will be excluded from future events.
