ABOUT
A lovely circular route around Nagle Dam, through the tunnel past the waterworks and other interesting places.
We will be meeting at Caltex in Cato Ridge at 7am and drive in a convoy to our starting point.
Hike distance is appr. 9km and will take us about 3 hours to complete (incl. breaks/stops)
This is a grade 1 hike so beginners are welcome!
Cost: R250pp which includes entry fee to the reserve!
Bring your own drinks and snacks or meat if you would like to stay for a picnic/braai after the hike. The place has a lovely picnic/braai area with a kiddies playground and clean ablutions!
What to bring: Shoes with good grips (hiking boots, takkies with good grip) NO FLAT SHOES ALLOWED!
snacks, water or cold drinks, a cap, backpack.
If event is cancelled due to bad weather, it will be re-scheduled and new date will be given.
Please also note that we need min 10 confirmed bookings to go ahead with this event. If quota is not met, event will be cancelled and refund will be processed.
