Rooibos MTB by Carmién: Tea Pairings at De Tol Farm Deli

Join us for the annual Rooibos MTB cycling event taking place from 21 - 23 July at De Tol Farm Deli, on the N7 as you drive towards Citrusdal.
Rooibos MTB by Carmién is a 2-day Mountain Biking event. There will be three distances on Saturday: 87km, 55km and 30km route and then only the 30km and 87km on Sunday.
Throughout the weekend we will have exciting activities happening at De Tol Farm Deli, including a kiddies' play area, a farm run on Saturday morning, food stalls, wine tastings and pairings, gin tastings and pairings, tea, food and wine pairings, tea blending and live entertainment.
The pairings will be limited to twelve people per timeslot, so make sure to book your slot in advance to avoid disappointment. Please make sure to pick the correct pairing timeslot.
Choose between the following options:
- Kiddies tea pairing hosted by Max the Sugarbird, a fun and fantastic Carmién cold brew tea pairing with three teas, perfectly paired treats and a colouring sheet for the little ones.
- Tea and nibble pairing hosted by tea enthusiast Phialene Booysen, with three Carmién teas and three specially selected nibbles.
- Tea, nibble and wine pairing hosted by chef and cookbook author Carmen Niehaus, which includes four Carmién teas, four Piekenierskloof Wines and nibbles to accompany each.
- Gin and nougat pairing hosted by botanical specialist Ilze Bruwer, with the specially crafted Carmién gins paired with MaMere nougat.
- Wine Tasting with the Piekenierskloof winemaker, where you will enjoy tasting four Piekenierskloof wines.
