Calling all Tech Founders, Investors and Ecosystem Enablers! We’re excited to announce the next meetup of Startup Club ZA in Johannesburg.

ABOUT:

Startup Club ZA is the country’s fastest growing tech startup community, fostering connection and opportunity between founders, investors and other stakeholders. Our upcoming event on Thursday, 3 August 2023 will feature stellar guests Lynton Peters (Former CEO & Co-Founder, OneCart) and Ndabenhle Ngulube (Co-Founder, Pineapple Insurance) for a night of invaluable insights and engaging like-minded people in the tech ecosystem.

THE GUESTS:

• Lynton Peters is the co-founder and former CEO of OneCart, one of the country's leading on-demand marketplace and delivery platforms. Founded in 2016, the business grew to over 1000 direct/indirect employees and achieved triple digit revenue growth annually, before being acquired by Makro and Game owner - Massmart - in late 2021. Lynton is an active angel investor and motivated to build Africa.

• Ndabenhle Ngulube is the co-founder of Pineapple, the pioneering digital insurance platform making waves across South Africa. Know most recently for their successful national billboard campaign, the business has seen a 1500% increase in web traffic and a 100% increase in vehicles insured each month. Pineapple has also attracted more than $9m in early-stage venture and grant capital from notable investors including Old Mutual, Lireas Holdings and E4E Africa.

NEED-TO-KNOW:

• Tickets are mandatory for admission and your ticket does not include a plus-one.
• Attendance is capped to 200 pax. Once we have reached capacity, please email us at team@startupclubza.com and we will revert should space become available.
• Light catering and drinks will be provided on the night.
• Limited Parking is available on-site at Planetworld (first-come-first-serve), with additional street parking available. Patrolling security guards will be on duty for the duration of the event.
• Tickets are not refundable, but transferrable up to 24 hours before the event. To transfer your ticket, please notify us by email and include the name/surname/email address of your replacement.
• IMPORTANT - on account of popularity and in order to grow a good attendance culture, "no shows" without prior notice will be excluded from future events.
