Thuli Madonsela Pilgrimage of Hope

ABOUT
Prof Thuli Madonsela, Director of the Chair of Social Justice at Stellenbosch University and former Public Protector, is walking the Pilgrimage of Hope, from Stellenbosch to Cape Agulhas. During this epic journey of more than 300 km on foot, passing several landmarks, churches and diverse communities, she will be raising funds for #Action4Inclusion, a movement that seeks to ensure the registration of all students by clearing historical debt.
Join her and a group of inspiring leaders and entrepreneurs for the launch of this project on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 August 2023. Participants can book either of these days, or both.
On Saturday, 19 August Prof Thuli will walk from Stellenbosch to Pniel (15 km), and on Sunday, 20 August from Pniel to Franschhoek (20 km). She will resume the pilgrimage later in October, for 13 consecutive days.
The ticket price of R600 per day includes logistical support, snacks, traditional "roosterkoek" for lunch, return transfers to the starting point, and a substantial contribution to the #Action4Inclusion fundraising project.
