For the first time in history, the UCT Upper Campus Rugby Sports Grounds will be transformed like never before. Experience the magic of our beautifully designed festival grounds, where music and nature come together to create an atmosphere that's truly one-of-a-kind. Our Food Village has been beautifully crafted to provide a diverse array of meal options. Whether you're a vegetarian or a lover of meat, we've got you covered. We've sourced food vendors who specialize in different types of cuisine to ensure that there's a wide range of options to satisfy all tastes.


We are a cash free family day, on the day of the event, we accommodate both credit and debit cards for all payments


Our Early Bird Tickets are limited, and once they're gone, the next pricing phase will be available. We will however keep the Early Bird Tickets on sale for as long as we can to accommodate everyone with a special price for buying early. We welcome festival attendees of all ages to join us. GENERAL ENTRY

Our General area has been thoughtfully designed to ensure everyone can fully enjoy the live show experience and all the festivities it offers. It includes the main stage, food vendors, non-alcoholic beverage zones, and the complete concert experience. Please note that within the General Area, we have designated sections where individuals under the age of 18 will not be permitted entry.


VIP ENTRY

Our VIP area has been meticulously crafted to provide an exclusive experience. Situated on the side of the main stage, it offers a direct view of the main stage, multiple bars, comfortable chill zones, and seating. Please be aware that our VIP area is exclusively for those aged 18 and above.


KIDS PASS ENTRY

Kids' Pass (Ages 5-12): Our Kids' Pass is the gateway to a world of excitement for your young ones. Please keep in mind that for safety and security, all children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a guardian. To ensure compliance, please note that anyone purchasing a Kids' Pass ticket who is not under 12 years old will not be granted entry. It's important to highlight that children under 5 enter for free, and for their safety, kids will not have access to areas designated for those over 18.

WHAT IS ALLOWED AT THE EVENT

Glass Prohibition: No glass items are permitted within the festival grounds.

Folding Chairs and umbrellas are allowed, however will be moved to the sides and back 

Age Restriction:  We welcome attendees of all ages to our Family Day Music Festival. However, we kindly request that all children below the age of 12 be accompanied by a guardian at all times, as we prioritize their safety and well-being. Children under12 will be denied entry if a parent / guardian is not with. Children who are under the age of 5 joins the festival for free! 

Refreshments: Please refrain from bringing any form of liquids into the venue. Fully stocked beverage stations will be available to cater to your hydration needs. Persons below the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from consuming alcohol.

Food and Seating: Ample food vendors will be at the event

Prohibited Items: Gazebos, fireworks, grills, fires and hookahs are strictly not allowed within the festival grounds.

Transportation: We highly encourage the use of carpooling or ride-share services to and from the venue. We kindly urge attendees not to drink and drive.

Parking: Please utilize the official parking spaces provided for the convenience and security of your vehicles. Parking tickets will be made available closer to the event date.

Personal Care: As the event will take place outdoors, we recommend bringing sunscreen, hats, and jackets for your comfort and protection.

Responsible Drinking: We encourage responsible consumption of alcohol. Enjoy the music and the overall event.

WHAT'S FOR SALE AT THE EVENT

Our festival caters to all age groups with an extensive selection of refreshment stations serving non-alcoholic beverages. For guests aged 18 and above, we have seperate bars alcoholic drinks can be purchased.
 
Food lovers will be spoilt for choice with a plethora of food vendors, offering a wide spectrum of culinary delights to cater to every palate. Whether you're in the mood for a light snack or a hearty meal, you'll find a diverse array of options to satisfy your cravings.
 
In addition, our festival marketplace will be stocked with merchandise, games, and a variety of other unique items for sale. It's a wonderful opportunity to take home a keepsake of your memorable day or engage in some fun activities while you enjoy the vibrant festival atmosphere. 

All payments made for items will be done with a credit / debit card.

KIDS ENTERTAINMENT

For our younger attendees, we've prepared a world of excitement! Kids can dive into the full live experience of all the headlining artists performing on stage in the General Access area.
 
And that's not all—we've gone above and beyond by setting up exciting carnival rides, offering a wide range of fun and games, and providing various forms of entertainment tailored especially for the youth.
 
In our commitment to ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, we kindly request that all minors under the age of 12 be accompanied by their parent or guardian at all times during the event. This measure is in place to guarantee a secure and enjoyable experience for our young guests. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
 
Furthermore, our diverse food options are open to everyone of all ages, ensuring that there's something delicious for everyone to enjoy. However, please note that our alcohol zones are strictly reserved for individuals aged 18 and older. We are fully dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for attendees of all ages.

We'd like to inform you that we have baby changing stations available for the convenience of mothers and their babies.

TICKETING

We are using digital ticketing through the Quicket platform. After a successful purchase, you can access your tickets by logging into your Quicket account. Please ensure that you have your unique barcoded ticket ready at the gates on the event day. We accept both digital and printed copies of tickets for entry.
 
To transfer tickets to another person securely, use the ticket transfer feature in your Quicket account. This process will remove the ticket from your account and assign it to the recipient's account with a new barcode. If the recipient does not have a Quicket account, one will be created for them during this process.
 
Here's a quick guide on how to transfer tickets:
 
Log into your Quicket account using the email address you used to book the tickets.
Navigate to "My Tickets".
Under "Options", select "Transfer tickets".
Transferring your tickets through Quicket ensures a smooth and secure process for all parties involved.

There's an all ages area where families can come together and share in the joy of the event amidst the breathtaking backdrop. Additionally, an exclusive Over-18s area that caters to adults, providing an atmosphere tailored to their preferences while maintaining the overall amazing experience that defines the event.
