Willowbridge Shopping Centre is Brining Bento Back! As requested by young aspiring pastry chefs and parents Willowbridge Shopping Centre will once again be hosting a Bento Cake Masterclass. Trendy toddlers and tweens are invited to get creative in the Willowbridge Kitchen this School Holiday. All are welcome. 

 

WHAT IS A BENTO CAKE?

Bento is a Japanese word that means convenient. Bento Boxes were used in Japan for carrying a single serving of food for lunch. Furthermore, the Bento cake originated in the 12th century in Japan. Today, it is famous as the no-share new go-to cakes.

  • Learn To Ice A Cake With Buttercream Frosting To Smooth Perfection (As Perfect As Little Hands Allow)
  • Buttercream Decoration Techniques Such As Piping Borders And Other Elements
  • Demonstration Of How To Decorate A Cake Using Techniques Shown
  • Making A Basic Fondant Cake Topper
