Calling all Tech Founders, Operators, Investors and Ecosystem Enablers. You're invited to attend our inaugural Cape Town Startup Showcase - the largest independent demo event of the year!

ABOUT SCZA®

Startup Club ZA is the country’s fastest growing tech startup community, fostering connection and opportunity between founders, investors and key stakeholders. Our in-person events occur monthly - and our online platform is purpose-built to engage the nationwide community and promote South Africa’s as a base for innovation and investment.

THE SHOWCASE:

On Wednesday 6th September 2023, the city's ecosystem will gather for our most anticipated event of the year, in which 14 of the Western Cape's most exciting startups will have the rare opportunity to demo their ventures on stage to an audience 300, including 40 of the country's top VC's and corporates. Our aim is that the exposure will serve to attract capital, key hires, corporate partners, early customers and more.

NEED-TO-KNOW:

• Tickets are mandatory for admission and your ticket does not include a plus-one. We regret no walk-ins.
• Attendance is capped to 300 pax. Once we have reached capacity, please email us at team@startupclubza.com and we will revert should space become available.
• Doors close at 6pm SHARP. We reserve the right to admit late attendees, out of courtesy for our showcasing founders.
• Light catering and a cash bar will be provided on the night.
• Limited Street Parking is available, with additional paid parking available nearby (2min walk) at Harrington Square (Charly's Bakery). We recommend using ride-sharing if/where possible.
• Tickets are not refundable, but transferrable BEFORE 5PM on 5th September. To transfer your ticket, please notify us by email and include the name/surname/email address of your replacement.
• IMPORTANT - on account of popularity and in order to grow a good attendance culture, "no shows" without prior notice will be excluded from future events.
