SPCA Sleepover

ABOUT

We are raising awareness and much needed funds for the thousands of animals who come through our pound each year. Show us you have what it takes to get adopted! Spend the night camping in one of our kennels, or sleep in your own tent on the grounds, whilst cuddling up with a furry kennel buddy. Impound yourself, your school principal or your boss, then get your friends and colleagues to adopt you back out. Meals and security will be provided, additional kennel treats will be for sale. Awesome surprises await and there will be great prizes for the most funds raised! Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Ticket Prices:

Kennel Camping : R300 pp*

To Camp in your Own Tent : R200 pp*

Impound your Boss or school principal: R2000 per participating corporate or school*

*The above fee includes meals and refreshments for each person and additional refreshments will be for sale (cards or cash accepted). Registration will be at 4pm the afternoon. Kindly bring your own tent (if applicable), sleeping bag/blanket/inflatable mattress and/or pillow. Kindly note that for the safety of all animals and campers, no alcohol will be sold at this event and no alcohol will be allowed on the grounds. No firearms, knives or other weapons may be brought onto the grounds. Participants will be able to choose their kennel cuddle buddy from a list of suitable adoption candidates one week prior to the event and the SPCA reserves the right to swap out any animal for another suitable adoption animal, in the instance that the animal chosen becomes adopted before the event day or based on the evaluation of the animal before the event or on the day. Photos for participant or corporate "adoption profiles" can be taken at the SPCA once booking and payment has been made, and each participant will be assigned an "adoption reference number" and payment link for "adoption fees" to be paid, as part of the fundraising challenge.
