Off the Beaten Track

An invitation to join me on a "Walk, draw, collage, paint, hand stitch" workshop!

Bring your walking shoes for this one! If the weather permits*, we’ll go for a gentle walk in the fynbos where we’ll do some simple mark making inspired by what we see. Back at the studio we’ll glue and stitch together a painting surface of fabric and paper. Drawing on the inspiration gathered earlier, you will make an abstract recording of our walk with pencils, pens, paint etc. This is a jam packed workshop so will run a little longer than most. 

*If the weather doesn’t play ball, we’ll go for an imaginary walk!

Includes materials, refreshments and a light lunch.
