ABOUT
PSFA is thrilled to announce that Lana English, an internationally renowned opera and musicals singer from Cape Town, will be performing with an ensemble of singers and musicians in the HEROES GALA CONCERT IN AID OF PSFA at the majestic Cape Town City Hall on Saturday, 14 October, at 14h00. Please note that seating is unreserved and tickets will be on sale at the door.
Joining Lana on stage will be singers Sian Atterbury, Victor Siljeur, Faried Swartz and Moe-ain Daniels as well as performances by Jeremy Quickfall, a classical pianist with a twist, acclaimed cellist, Dane Coetzee, the Masikuhle Community Orchestra and the Constantia Primary School Choir. Glenn Swart directs the concert.
The programme will include a mixed tapestry of favourites from operas, musicals, sacred classics, and more!
“I am extremely excited to host this concert in support of PSFA and in honour of all the volunteers who tirelessly prepare the meals for the schoolchildren. I would love to write out a cheque to PSFA, but with my voice, I am able to do just that, and with this small gesture, be able to make a huge difference in one child’s life” Lana English.
