Where: Bandwidth Barn, 3rd Floor, Block B, Woodstock Exchange.
What: We'll be launching the details of the competition, as well as a few guest speakers to touch on design thinking, civic planning and serious games. (Snacks and drinks provided!)
The Bandwidth Barn, Cape Craft and Design Institute, 67games and IEASA are collaborating to launch SA's biggest serious games competition, in full support from the Western Cape Government Department of Economic Development and Planning. The winning team will receive R1 000 000 to develop the game!
We're challenging all current or aspiring game developers and digital creatives to take a user-centred design approach to conceptualise a game that that allows people to think innovatively, reimagining their spaces for greater social cohesion and economic prosperity in their communities.
