For the first time ever Real Art World (RAW) takes its show to Grand West at The Roxy.

RAW will be hosting “Fresh Faces 2023” a high energy and magical production showcasing a cast of 14talented acts from Cape Town. This yearly event will be headlined by the amazing Daylin Sass and he will be joined by 4 talented guest acts and most importantly 8 of the best unseen stars from the city. All performing to become the winner of Fresh Faces 2023.

You can expect to see the cream of the crop - a dazzling collection of some of the best up and coming Singers, Musicians, Comedians, Poets, Rappers from the Mother City, packaged in one amazing show. Get ready for magic-filled moments, good vibes and most importantly, RAW talent!

WHO IS RAW?

RAW began in 2016 as a regular open mic evening called “Express Yourself”. Since then, RAW has hosted over 1000 performers in over 125 shows - fast becoming Cape Town’s premiere platform for discovering RAW talent. 

The platform is dedicated to diversity, allowing all types of performers to express themselves, to test & promote new material and advertise their brand. It also acts as a networking and scouting space for performers, managers, producers, record labels, radio stations, videographers, photographers, and event coordinators. 

In addition, RAW also provides valuable creative and entrepreneurial support and advice through its artist focused workshops. And when it comes to access tocreative spaces like production, recording, visual, podcast and rehearsal studios, RAW now provides anindustry standard service to all at in its very own creative hub in the southern suburbs.

In 2020, The First Season of The RAW Podcast was released, where Chad Isaacs (Host & RAW Founder) interviews some of the best creatives in the business to showcase RAW’s believe system and ideology of “It’s possible”.

All these creative platforms have played a role in many of RAWs performers gaining recognition and makingsignificant strides in the entertainment industry. Artists such as Nasty C, Jimmy Nevis, Rowlene, Gemini Major, Tellaman, Xenia (Kenya), Paxton, Chad Saaiman, Jarrad Ricketts, Craig Lucas, YoungstaCPT, Amy Jones, Andrea Fortuin, Stuart Taylor, Robby Collins (KZN), Wayne Mckay, Schalk Bezuindenhout, Clayton Jones (USA), NV Funk, Yaaseen Barnes, Carl Weber, Dalin Oliver, EmileYX?, Dani Bagel, Anica Kiana, Patty Monroe, Hunter Rose, Gabi Du Plessis, Hersh, Daylin Sass and Chaise Williams are just some of the amazing creatives that have performed on the RAW stage!!!

WHO IS DAYLIN SASS?

Daylin Sass is an exceptionally talented singer songwriter and one of the biggest acts to come out of the Western Cape. This established performer is well known for his ability to encapsulate any crowd with his soulful voice and extremely heart-touching stage presence! This gifted artist has performed on just about every big stage in Mother City and beyond, alongside some of the biggest names and talented acts in the business. With Daylin’s flawless vocals and magnetic energy this amazing performer rocks every stage he touches! We are extremely honoured and excited to have this Cape Town star headline Fresh Faces 2023.
