As an emcee, dee jay and producer, J-Live's music, spanning more than 15 albums, has been a staple of inspiration for listeners of underground Hip Hop for more than 25 years. His second album, All of the Above (2002) is a bonafied classic that infuses the elements of jazz and soul samples in a way only real Hip Hop can. True to J-Live's consistent form, it's packed with witty bars, clever captivating stories and social commentary that remains true and relevant today. We are proud to present this performance, reimagining the album with a live band. This one night of 2 shows will be recorded to make a historic vinyl release of this live performance in Johannesburg, exemplifying how timeless Hip Hop is truly a worldwide phenomenom, 50 years and counting.
