This performance showcases the start of a project that I have been working towards over the past year that is inspired by the works of contemporary South African Jazz artists such as Bokani Dyer and Kyle Shepard. We will also play two compositions by the trailblazing US Jazz guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel. His modern approach to music has also had a profound impact on my composition.
