Dear Friends and Maritime Enthusiasts,
You're cordially invited to the Kenton Seagull Regatta 2023, a day celebrating the iconic British Seagull outboard engines. Join us on the Kariega River on December 30th at 10 am for a memorable event with a purpose.
Vintage Vibes: Watch vintage two-stroke outboard engines take to the water, showcasing the rugged simplicity and reliability of the British Seagull era.
Giving Back: This non-profit event aims to raise funds for local schools, charities and community needs in the Kenton on Sea area. Last year, we raised an incredible R210,000!
Simple Rules: To keep things fair, each boat must have a minimum of two people. Only series 102, Silvery Century, or 40 models are allowed. No engine modifications or newer models, like the QB series. No canoes, boards, or catamarans. No maximum crew, as long as it's safe.
Day of Fun: Enjoy sponsored food, beverages, live music, and to finish off, a fundraising auction. Don't miss the lucky draw for a Jamieson Bandit 380 boat on a galvanized trailer, together with a Suzuki 15hp 4 Stroke outboard engine. Kindly donated by Jamieson Boats and Supreme Leisure.
Record-Breaking Regatta: Be part of history at the world's biggest Seagull Regatta! Last year, we had a whopping 147 boats. Let's make this year even more spectacular.
