Join us for this season’s spectacular AfroSymphonic evening at RMB Starlight Classics - a diverse showcase of South African talent, collaborating to create musical magic, embracing RMB’s commitment to the creative economy.
The show is hosted by Maestro Richard Cock and will be co-hosted by TV and radio personality, Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp.
The dynamic programme, directed by Darren Hayward and musically directed by James Bassingthwaighte, boasts an impressive line-up, including:
Goitsemang Lehobye – Internationally celebrated classical SA soprano
Lunga Hallam – Internationally acclaimed SA Tenor
Zolani Mahola – ‘The One Who Sings’ - SA singer, actress, storyteller
Goodluck –SA’s chart-topping, electronic music band
Jo Black – Inspirational Afrikaans singer-songwriter
Jimmy Nevis – Versatile, urban R&B pop artist
Gerhard Joubert –young virtuosa pianist
Cape Town Opera Chorus -SA’s premier opera company chorus
Featuring the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra with conductors, Brandon Philips and Chevonne Plaatjies.
Gates open at 16:00 and the concert starts at 19:30
