David Bass has been playing his highly individual blend of jazz-fusion to Cape Town audiences for more than 50 years. StarBng out with the notoriously high-energy Feedback, and in recent years with the (ever-so slightly) mellower AciDBass project, he has amassed a repertoire of original music which both honors and subverts a lifeBme of musical influences. The David Bass Quartet features jazz legends Justin Bellairs (sax), Kevin Gibson (drums), Wesley Rustin (bass) and Willy Haubrich (trumpet and trombone).
