Since its inception in 2017, Secrets of Summer has evolved into South Africa's premier New Year's Eve music festival. The 2024 edition promises an unparalleled celebration, featuring a dynamic blend of international and local artists across diverse genres. Attendees can anticipate innovative stage designs and immersive experiences, all set against Cape Town's captivating backdrop.

- VIP Village: Spanning over 7,000 square meters, the VIP Village offers an exclusive experience with a dedicated stage, multiple bars, chill zones, and premium amenities. VIP ticket holders also have access to all general areas.
- Backstage High-Roller & Free Bar Experience: For the first time, we're offering an exclusive Backstage High-Roller ticket. This premium pass grants you access to an exclusive area where you can have an ultra-close experience with the main stage artists. Enjoy the vibe of a private dance floor right in front of the stage, backstage access, seating, and more. Your Backstage High-Roller VVIP perks include:
- Free bar open from 9 PM, including all spirits, ciders, shooters, beers, Red Bull, and soft drinks.

Black River Park Sports Field, Fir Street, Observatory (same venue as our NYE edition in 2022, opposite Amazon). Our stunning playground offers over 22,000 square meters of lush greens and an incredible setup. Positioned on the 7min out of the City Centre/CBD, it boasts less city traffic and a convenient, easy-to-navigate layout, ideal for this New Year’s Eve Countdown.
Our VIP Village spans 7,000 SQM and is designed for a premium experience. It features a VIP dance floor, geodesic domes, six bars, ample seating, and direct access to the main stage, along with a food village and restrooms. This exclusive area offers a bigger-than-usual experience for all VIP attendees.

• Parking: Our parking area features manned security, ensuring the safety of your vehicle. Please note that a parking levy applies. For added convenience, we also offer designated Uber and drop-off zones located outside the venue, providing easy and efficient access.
• Disclaimer of Liability: Secrets of Summer, the venue, its employees, volunteers, contracted workers, partners, sponsors, and brand / product affiliates, are not responsible for any loss, theft, damage to personal property, personal injury or death that may occur at the event. By entering the festival, attendees waive any claims for liability against the event organizers, and their respective affiliates, officers, directors, employees, volunteers and contracted workers.
• Media Release: By entering the festival grounds, you grant the festival permission to capture videos and photos of you during the event. These media assets may be used for post-event marketing purposes to promote future events and showcase the festival experience.
• Emergency Situations: In the event of an emergency we have dedicated medical teams stationed throughout the festival grounds to provide immediate assistance if needed. Additionally, a team of security officials is present to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
• Altering of event Schedule: We reserve the right to alter, modify, or change the event program at its discretion.

TICKET REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS
• Buying on platforms other than Quicket: We strongly recommend to only purchase your tickets at qkt.io/secrets
• Agreement to Event Rules: By purchasing a ticket, you agree to comply with all event rules and understand that the event organizer may change these rules at their discretion.
• Ticket Transfer: If you choose to transfer your ticket to someone else, it is your responsibility to ensure the ticket is transferred to the new holder's name. This can be done through a direct transfer from your Quicket.co.za account. If the new ticket holder doesn't have a Quicket account, one will be created for them when the transfer is executed. Please note that the organizers are not responsible for losses or fraudulent transactions between third parties.
• Ticket Resale: If you can no longer attend the event or wish to sell your ticket, you may do so.
• Non-Refundable Policy: All tickets purchased for the event are non-refundable. In the event you are unable to attend or choose not to attend the event for any reason, you will not be eligible for a refund, you may however gift or sell your ticket to someone else.
