Johannesburg Opera present SACRED Music.

 

Johannesburg Opera is proud to present its first Sunday Afternoon concert of 2024, featuring an exquisite selection of Sacred Music. The programme has been carefully curated to celebrate the upcoming Easter period and includes some of the most beautiful and well-known sacred music pieces.

 

This special programme includes musical numbers such as Agnus Dei, Pie Jesu, Ave Verum, O Divine Redeemer, Everytime I Feel the Spirit, and I'll Walk with God, among others.

 

Johannesburg Opera has taken great care to ensure that the programme befitted this special period. The performance promises to be a memorable experience, and we invite you to join us for this exceptional celebration of Sacred Music.

 

Performing this afternoon will be, Khayakazi Madlala (soprano), Brenda Thulo (Mezzo-Soprano), Phenye Modiane (tenor) and Solly Motaung (baritone) They will be accompanied on piano by Paul Ferreira.
