Having just returned from a triumphant year of performances, including unforgettable moments like opening for the sensational Langa Mavuso at The Star Theatre and gracing the stage at the T.H.A.T August Festival alongside esteemed acts such as The Brother Moves On, Kujenga, and Tshepo Tsotetsi, and closing 2023 with a LIVE performance on SABC 2's Hectic Nine 9; Internet Athi is certainly an emerging act to watch. The experiences and lessons learned during these performances have added depth and maturity to his artistry, and he's ready to showcase his growth on his favourite stage.

Internet Athi unveils a carefully curated acoustic set, a blend of soulful melodies and introspective lyrics that reflect the journey he's been on over the past year. The stripped-down arrangements allow his raw talent and genuine connection with the audience to shine through. ABOUT INTERNET ATHI

Internet Athi is an independent, multidisciplinary artist based in Cape Town. He is a singer, songwriter, spoken word artist and a self-taught guitarist with an experience in Live performance that is gradually cementing him across many acts that are emerging in Cape Town, South Africa. His work as a guitarist was recently featured on the single Ntinga, by South African Idols sensation, Chosi, while his voice was lent to the 3-part single (A Piece of Your Time) for Durban-based emerging Hip Hop star, FeelThe6th. Athi is a published writer who was listed in the Franschhoek Literary Festival in the year 2019/20, with his other work being published under Cover2Cover from the literary competitions that he's won over the years under his pen name, Athenkosi Cetyana. The artists is currently working on his debut EP.
