Johannesburg Opera presents Opera Scenes.

Johannesburg Opera is pleased to announce that it will be presenting excerpts from six operas in a showcase that has been specially curated to highlight the versatility and talent of the opera artists working with the organization. The concert will be presented in a unique style and will be directed by the Artistic Director, Phenye Modiane, who has been instrumental in selecting scenes that showcase the diversity of the performers' skills.

The six scenes have been chosen to provide audiences with a glimpse of the exceptional calibre of the performers working with the Johannesburg Opera. The concert will be accompanied by Andrew Duncan.

The concert is expected to be a celebration of the art of opera and a testament to the incredible talent of the performers who have been selected to participate. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable afternoon of music and performance.

3.   Norma by Vincenzo Bellini

4.   La Sonnambula by Vincenzo Bellini

5.   I Pagliacci by Ruggiero Leoncavallo

6.   La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi
