The South African Suzuki Association (SASA) invites you to a memorable musical event as musicians from across the country unite with the Chicago Consort, a distinguished touring ensemble hailing from America, for an enchanting afternoon brimming with classical melodies from the Suzuki repertoire and beyond.
In a harmonious collaboration, SASA member students between the ages of 3 and 18 years will take centre stage for the inaugural segment of the program, showcasing their musical competence and dedication to the Suzuki method.
Following suit, the renowned the Chicago Consort, consisting of students aged 13 to 18 years, will delight the audience with their masterful performances during the latter half of the event.
The concert will culminate in a magnificent play-together of over 150 local and international children on violin, cello and more, creating a symphony of unity and camaraderie through the universal language of music. It promises to be an extraordinary celebration of talent, culture and the enduring legacy of Shinichi Suzuki’s transformative approach to music education.
