ABOUT
The CANSA TLC Brain Profiling service is available to parents / guardians to create a brain profile for the parent and child diagnosed with cancer, aged 4 to 9 years old, to enable a better understanding of the child in their care as he or she faces the challenges of a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
How it works
Interested parents and guardians sign up and pay for the brain profiling programme on the secure Quicket platform. Click on the green 'Tickets' button on the right-hand side of this page ------->
You may choose any date as it's not applicable for the purpose of the assessment.
You will receive an email from [email protected] / [email protected] with a link and unique code (check your spam folder in case you can't find the email). You will use this code to fill in the assessment online (separate website from CANSA). These results are used to draw up the report and CANSA's qualified and accredited Neethling Brain Instrument (NBI®) practitioner will discuss this report in detail with you and you will receive the written report.
This detailed report outlines the parent and child patient’s unique thinking preferences and communication style. This is a non-intrusive, non-threatening process that may be completed in the comfort of your own home. The insights the programme deliver will empower you and your child with cancer to thrive throughout the journey towards recovery.
The cost of R270 include a parent and child’s profiling.
