ExTex24 Beginners Knitted Rib Beanie

Learn all the techniques needed to knit a ribbed beanie by creating a this miniature version.

the following will be covered in the class:

• Cast on using the alternating cable cast on.
• Join in the round.
• Knit 1 by 1 rib in the round.
• Create the crown using neat equally spaced decreases.
• Close the top.
• Make a little pom pom using a fork.

This would be a fun Mother and Daughter workshop.

Please bring:

• Knitting needles: Please bring 4.0 mm circular knitting needles with tip length at least 10 cm.
• A kitchen fork for making the pom pom. 

All other materials will be provided

Please note entry into Kirstenbosch is not included in the ticket price but participants only pay R60 student entrance fee on presentation of their Quicket booking ticket.
