ABOUT
The Cableway Charity Challenge (CCC) is a unique annual fundraising event held on the iconic Table Mountain that challenges individuals and corporates to ascend Platteklip Gorge as many times as possible from dawn to dusk on Saturday 20th April 2024.
All proceeds raised from this event go towards assisting the ground breaking work of some inspirational Cape Town based charities and invaluable services:
- Abalimi Bezekhaya
- Funda Kunye
- Ndihluthi Feeding Scheme
- Wilderness Search and Rescue
- Volunteer Wildfire Services
For the second year running the Black Widows (a hockey squad representing Western Province Cricket Club) have taken up this charity challenge.
In advance of the big day, and in an effort to bolster the fundraising pledges already received to date, an exclusive craft brew appreciation fundraising evening has been organised by the Black Widows in collaboration with the brewing wizards from BADLab Breweries.
Join us on Thursday 11th April from 5:30pm at the Rondebosch Old Boys' Heritage Centre for an opportunity to sample some of the very best craft beer around, along with conversation with inspirational endurance athlete and motivational speaker Ryan Stramrood.
The casual evening promises to be packed with fun filled banter and will also include an insight into the craft beer brewing methods on show.
For just R200 your ticket will also include free craft beer and a boerewors roll on the house!
Note: Tickets are not for general public sale, but rather on a bespoke invite only basis. Tickets are limited to a total of 60 places max.
