Neurodivergence in Childhood: Navigating Differences and Enhancing Support
Join our impactful quarterly Fireside Chats that empower parents and celebrate neurodiversity (i.e., Autism Spectrum Disorder) as part of Kids Innovate Africa's Robotics With Neurodiverse Initiative, supported by the SAB Foundation.
Our initiative aims to help school learners living with ASD to discover their passion in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education fields. We strive to create a nurturing environment where these learners can grow and develop the interpersonal skills necessary for the real world. Additionally, we aim to build a community working towards changing policies in the education system to better support neurodiverse learners.
Parents and guardians can enjoy interactive sessions with behavioural/ educational experts as they share experiences, and gain insights on best practices.
Your child (5 - 18 year olds) will be in the care of our experienced Robotics, Coding, Animation and Game Development coaches with peers in the adjacent room having fun.
KINDLY NOTE:Due to limited resources and capacity, we can only support school learners with Level 1 Autism Spectrum Disorder.
