We are excited to announce our upcoming event, a vibrant and dynamic 5KM Colour Fun Run, scheduled to take place on 21 September 2024 at 9AM in Brandvlei (Dennebos). This event promises to be an exhilarating experience for participants of all ages, offering a unique blend of fitness, fun, and philanthropy.
The primary objective of our Colour Fun Run is to raise as many donations of sanitary towels as possible and to create awareness around period poverty.
We recognise that access to menstrual hygiene products is a fundamental necessity for every young woman, yet many girls in underserved areas lack access to affordable and hygienic menstrual care products. As a result, they often resort to unhygienic alternatives or miss out on school during their menstrual cycle, further perpetuating the cycle of poverty and inequality.
Support our cause in providing personal hygiene solutions to young teenage girls this September by donating as many packs of pads as possible!
