Islamic Relief South Africa is excited to host our second Padel Tournament in the Mother City - Cape Town! - All proceeds from this event are in aid of our brothers and sisters in Gaza, Palestine.

This event promises a thrilling sporting experience and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who need it most. Your participation will provide essential resources such as water, food, shelter and psychosocial support.

Join us for an exhilarating game and put the FUN in FUNdraising. This tournament features a round-robin format, leading to an exciting knockout stage. Prizes await the top two teams, with a third prize and the cherry on top going to the team with the quirkiest name! (Sign up below with your team name)

• Ticket prices are for teams of 2 people (Only one ticket needs to be purchased per team of 2)
• Salaah facilities available
• Food and drinks will be sold by the host
• Games start promptly at 10:00- late participants will be disqualified
• Spectators of all ages are welcome - bring your families and friends!

Tournament Rules:

Group Stages

• six groups, each consisting of 8 teams

•Each team plays 3 games, each lasting 15 minutes

Standard mini-tournament rules apply:

•The team with the most sets at the end of 15 minutes wins the game

•Sets are recorded as points at the end of each game

•Draws are recorded as equal points on the leaderboard

•The team with the most points after 3 games win the group

Advancement to Knockouts:

•Each group produces one winner

•The top 2 second-place teams across all groups advance to the knockout stages.

Knockout Stages:

•Standard quarterfinal, semi-final, and final games

•Including a match for 3rd and 4th place

DIRECTIONS
