ABOUT
The Cape Youth Collective is hosting its first official mutual aid event to fundraise and support the Housing Assembly. The Cape Youth Collective is a protest and community organising collective that seeks to repair inequality, spatial apartheid, and violence in the City of Cape Town. The Housing Assembly is a collective that supports informal housing occupations throughout the city against evictions, natural disasters, and securing land tenure.
House4Housing is a wet, warm, and wild space for us to party and raise some money for the Housing Assembly and its many initiatives - 100% of the proceeds will go to their campaign to address the Social Housing Waiting List and a significant housing backlog in the city.
All artists are performing voluntarily - making it a lucky packet event - we promise to announce what we can closer to the time!
This takes place on Friday the 5th of July 2024 at the Waiting Room on 273 Long Street
Vinyl Djs will spin between 5 - 7pm, digital acts on until 2:00 .
