SA Camp Fest is the biggest VAG themed South African annual event for enthusiasts of all things German.
The pilgrimage attracts thousands of people who love extraordinary cars, modern entertainment and the outdoor lifestyle.
This two day event is a highlight on the national social and motor industry calendar, and a benchmark for other car shows in Africa.

The first weekend of February has become the annual tradition to celebrate unique Volkswagen creations from all periods of their existence.
Enthusiasts and aficionados of the VAG scene have a choice of visiting the show for a day, or spending the entire weekend with fellow Vdub enthusiasts in your preference of camping or accommodation.
Forever Resorts Warmbaths in Bela Bela has been decided by fans as the most suitable accommodation venue for the large demand of public attendance and the enormous volume of vehicles that require access to the show.
Widely recognized as one of the very best camping holiday resorts in the country, the enormous Warmbaths Resort stands in 600 hectares of picturesque land within the scenic Hetbad Nature Reserve. The venue is hailed by many tourism establishments as one of the most outstanding leisure destinations in South Africa.
The Forever Resort Group has very well-maintained camping facilities, with a substantial amount of trees for shade. The camp sites are powered and all have braai stands, taps and serviced refuse bins available. There is a vast amount of luxury chalets and accommodation available for visitors to enjoy.
Owners of cherished show cars will be pleased that the venue internal roads are well maintained and the Show And Shine exhibition takes place on a large grass turf area. The renowned competition will feature 30 categories from over 400 competing vehicles and will establish the best cars for the year ahead. The level of competition and project built cars at the next show can be expected to be even more remarkable than past instalments of the motorshow.
Visitors can expect various sponsored live demos and debut displays, unveiling of the latest industry products and innovative Camp Fest activities.
Warmbaths offers a large volume of pristine indoor and outdoor swimming pools and water slides for the supporters’ perusal. There is a wide selection of amenities and facilities to enjoy.
The event judging and entertainment lineup will once again include international personalities in line with the high standards from past shows.
The 2025 Camp Fest social afterparty or "AfterFest" is hosted as an outdoor affair with impressive line-array sound and intelligent lighting.
The entertainment includes a variety of celebrity acts that perform from a VW themed DJ booth.
Another flagship attraction is the Wolfsburg Edition car which is given away to one lucky supporter every year, and details of the 2025 vehicle is announced on the event social media platforms.

Kindly note that optional insurance for events does not offer cover for most occurrences of civil unrest, terrorism, communicable diseases, war, travel restrictions, force majeure or government related enforcements or public safety curtailments that result in event cancellation or postponement. Ticket refunds are therefore not possible.
The Forever Resorts venue may offer fail-safe dates solely at their discretion.
*FIRST RELEASE (1 August 2024 to 31 August 2024)
Polo tickets (Day visiting): R250 per person.
This entitles the visitor access from 07h00 until 17h00 on either Saturday or Sunday according to the respective day chosen. Includes access to all resort facilities. Excludes access to the afterparty.
Day-visitors have a separate safe parking area that is within the resort perimeter, but outside the main venue. Guests will park in the designated areas and enter the main resort facilities by foot, as per normal day-visit procedure. Only day-visitors who have pre-registered for the Show & Shine competition will be allowed vehicle entry into the show area.
*Please note that only overnight guests (chalets and camping) are permitted to take alcoholic beverages into the venue. Day visitors are not allowed to enter with liquor and can purchase such refreshments at the venue bars.
AutoPavilion Vehicle Pass (Day visiting): R220 per vehicle.
This entitles a day visitor's VEHICLE ONLY special access into the main venue from 07h00 until 17h00 on either Saturday or Sunday according to the respective day chosen.
Day visitors have a designated general parking area outside the main show venue. Only pre-registered Show And Shine entries of Day Visitors are permitted inside the show area. However if a particular visitor does not wish to compete in the Show And Shine competition but still desires to take his car into the main venue area, he can do so by means of an AutoPavilian vehicle pass.
These passes are limited to 220 additional vehicles only and interested supporters should secure the ticket as early as possible if needed.
Please note that the vehicle pass is for special access of a VAG vehicle only. Each occupant inside the vehicle require separate Day Visit attendance tickets.
*Also note that only overnight guests (chalets and camping) are permitted to take alcoholic beverages into the venue. Day visitors are not allowed to enter with liquor and can purchase such refreshments at the venue bars.
GTI tickets (Full Weekend Dub Camp): R1000 per person.
This entitles the visitor to access from 08h00 Friday, two nights camping space inside Warmbaths Resort until end of show at 17h00 on the Sunday of the event. There is a maximum of 8 people & minimum 6 people per camp site. Should you be fewer than 5 on a stand then fellow supporters do reserve the right to share that particular camp stand space. This guideline is so that all ticket holders can occupy reasonably equivalent spaces at the camping area. Camping stands are suitable for parking of 2 to 3 cars (depending on the size of your tent and your other camping apparatus). GTI tickets includes admission to the Camp Fest Afterparty and access to all resort facilities.
*All GTI camping tickets are valid from Friday to Sunday, even if a ticket holder can only attend for 1 night the value/ cost remains the same.
Tiguan SCS2 tickets (1 Bedroom Comfortline Chalet): R1500 per person per night.

Lounge with Netflix, Showmax and YouTube. Open plan equipped kitchenette, two bathrooms with showers, basin & toilet, including bedding for 6 people. These Comfortline hotel rooms are located at Elephant Springs and are situated across the road from the main Warmbaths show area. Each unit has 1 bedroom with a two single beds, including bedding, en-suite bathroom with shower.
Each room has a coffee station and Smart TV with complimentary Netflix and ShowMax with free Wi-Fi in all rooms. Bedrooms have a bar fridge and a coffee station.
The HOTEL does not offer self-catering bedrooms therefore do not offer these guests facilities to cook their own food. The hotel restaurant is fully licensed for beverages and food requirements.
Various hotel rooms offer different views and all rooms include access to the hotel pool.
This ticket allows the visitor two nights (Friday & Saturday nights) hotel accommodation on the Elephant Springs property, and event admission into the Warmbaths Resort facilities from 07h00 Saturday until end of show at 17h00 on the Sunday of the event. Taigo hotel ticket holders will be allowed to park their vehicle inside the Warmbaths Resort during the event. Includes admission to Camp Fest Afterparty and access to all resort facilities.

Crafter Bus - Group ticket (40 Prepared Tents - Crew Site): R687 per person per night.
Example of total cost calculation: • 80 Sleeper lodge (80 persons x R687 x 2 nights) = R110,000.
This private Camping area inside Warmbaths main resort contains 40 safari comfort tents with 2 genuine single beds per unit. Separate large modern ablution block. Large fully equipped kitchen. An oversized private lapa. Communal area with DSTV. The ideal destination for a large car club or crew that want to stay together but want to have their own space secluded from the general public camping area. This ticket allows the visitors access from 08h00 Friday, two nights self-catering accommodation and event admission until end of show at 17h00 on the Sunday of the event. Note that this lodge entry point is on a 500m gravel road. The surface of the road is reasonably well maintained and low car friendly however Show & Shine contestants are advised of possible dust on this road surface. Includes admission to Camp Fest Afterparty and access to all resort facilitites.

*SECOND & FINAL RELEASE (1st September 2024 to 31st January 2025).
GTI tickets (Full Weekend Dub Camp): R1150 per person online, or R1300 per person at the dealership showrooms.
This entitles the visitor to access from 08h00 Friday, two nights camping space inside Warmbaths Resort until end of show at 17h00 on the Sunday of the event. There is a maximum of 8 people & minimum 6 people per camp site. Should you be fewer than 5 on a stand then fellow supporters do reserve the right to share that particular camp stand space. This guideline is so that all ticket holders can occupy reasonably equivalent spaces at the camping area. GTI tickets includes admission to the Camp Fest Afterparty and access to all resort facilities. All GTI camping tickets are valid from Friday to Sunday, even if a ticket holder can only attend for 1 night the value/ cost remains the same.
*The final release of GTI tickets is available only from the sales departments at selected VW dealership partners of the motorshow.
TCross area (Full Weekend Dub Camp): N/A
> There are no separate TCross tickets sold for the 2025 event. This space will be used as overflow for the regular GTI camping.
Once the ordinary camping stands are full then any late arrivals for GTI camping will be allowed to utilize the additional TCross space.
Note that the TCross area is temporary additonal camping space specifically offered for the motorshow and has partial infrastructure (limited electrical power or braai stands). Should you prefer regular camping amenities please arrive early to secure your space.
ID.4 tickets (Full Weekend Dub Camp + Thursday Early Arrival): R1600 per person.
This new ticket entitles the visitor to access from 10h00 Thursday, three nights camping space inside Warmbaths Resort until end of show at 17h00 on the Sunday of the event.
The ticket essentially allows for one transaction to secure early arrival access without the need to process Extended Stay links and a second booking transaction.
There is a maximum of 8 people & minimum 6 people per camp site. Should you be fewer than 5 on a stand then fellow supporters do reserve the right to share that particular camp stand space. This guideline is so that all ticket holders can occupy reasonably equivalent spaces at the camping area. ID.4 tickets includes admission to the Camp Fest Afterparty and access to all resort facilities.
*Note that for this release a limited quantity of only 370 online (Second Release at R1600), and 100 pre-printed tickets (Final Release at R1750) will be available from the sales departments at selected VW dealership partners of the motorshow.
Regular GTI tickets will remain available at VW dealerships and Extended Stay can be purchased separately from Quicket.
ID.Buzz tickets (Full Weekend Dub Camp + Wednesday Early Arrival): R2000 per person.
This new special ticket entitles the visitor to access from 10h00 Wednesday, four nights camping space inside Warmbaths Resort until end of show at 17h00 on the Sunday of the event.
The ticket essentially allows for one transaction to secure super early arrival access without the need to process Extended Stay links and a second booking transaction.
There is a maximum of 8 people & minimum 6 people per camp site. Should you be fewer than 5 on a stand then fellow supporters do reserve the right to share that particular camp stand space. This guideline is so that all ticket holders can occupy reasonably equivalent spaces at the camping area. ID.Buzz tickets includes admission to the Camp Fest Afterparty and access to all resort facilities.
*Note that only 200 online tickets will be offered for ID.Buzz and no dealership "over the counter" tickets will be available for this particular option.
Polo, Taigo, Crafter Bus, Caravelle, Arteon, Tiguan, Clubsport, Touareg and R Line tickets:
*No additional units to be released. Cost remains the same throughout the entire ticket sales period and units will be available until sold out status is reached.

Camping and Day-visit:
Under 3 years can enter at no charge or cover fee.
Regrettably Warmbaths does not offer a reduced rate for minors over 4 years. The resort facilities are by and large geared for children as well as adults therefore all visitors over 4 years are required to enter at normal admission fee.
Please note that ROAR applies and verification of kiddies’ ages may be requested upon entry.
Children at chalets and hotel accommodation:
Any individual who requires their own bed is counted and enters at normal per person cover charge. Infants who share a bed with a parent are not counted or charged. Infants are defined as young children under the age of 3 years.

The Edition Sixteen - Camp Fest Gift Pack is an optional top-up when you are checking out your event ticket purchase.
This is a special Vdub fanatic souvenir package consisting of a branded drawstring accessories bag, 500ml Vdub bottled water, 2k25 Vdub lanyard, German ballpoint pen, Limited edition Camp Fest keyring and 2 x Camp Fest car window decal stickers. Occasionally event sponsors include some extra items in there too.

Ibiza Afterfest tickets: *Not Applicable for 2025
Day visitors who wish to attend the afterfest can purchase these tickets that allow them admission. One Polo Day-visit ticket for day time access as well as one Ibiza ticket is required per Afterfest visitor. Quantities of this special offering are limited and availability cannot be guaranteed on the day. It is advisable to secure this ticket in advance if you are visiting for the day and intend staying for the night time party. Vehicle parking remains at the general day-visitors’ parking and access to accommodation and camping areas is not included. - This top up option has been discontinued. Only overnight camping, chalet an hotel guests receive access to night time entertainment.
NB: Kindly note that the Afterfest is not suitable for minors under the age of 18 years and will be turned away upon entry.
Vor Dem Fest - Extended Stay tickets:
Supporters who wish to arrive at the festival a day earlier than the bulk of the crowds can do so by purchasing these tickets in addition to their main attendance ticket.
The main attendance ticket must be the same type of ticket as their early arrival ticket. This is due to the full capacity of the event and the venue reservations not being able to shift the magnitude of guests between different types of rooms for the duration of their festival stay.
Example of ticket purchase:
1) You have 4 GTI camping tickets for the main event. You can then purchase 4 GTE Thursday tickets to extend your stay for an extra day.
2) You have a Tiguan chalet ticket for the main event. You can then purchase a Tiguan Allspace Thursday ticket to extend your stay for early arrival.
*Note: You need to first secure your main attendance ticket booking. Thereafter purchase the “Vor Dem Fest” early arrival ticket that matches your main ticket.

Taigo entry - proceed to Elephant Springs reception: From 14h00 on Friday 7th Feb 2025.

¢) For patrons who are attending this event for the first time, please note that each of the various event attendance options have a ticket name (Eg; Polo, GTI, Tiguan) that is merely part of the VW brand theme of the event. It does not mean that ticket holders need to own or drive the type of car in accordance with their attendance ticket name. Any make of vehicles may be driven to the event by overnight visitors but only cars from the VAG stable can enter the Show And Shine display.

This can be done by clicking on the "Show Info" text links next to the desired ticket. The venue does not allow refunds for space that has been paid and reserved.
Booking transaction confirmations need to be purchased according to the full accommodation ticket value. There are no lay-by or particial deposits with monthly installments offered for bookings.

Every ticket purchased must have the individual attendee's name, surname and ID submitted during the Quicket purchase transaction and this will be verified for each ticket holder upon entrance. 3] ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES:
GTI camping sites are adequate for maximum 8 persons and event allocation is for a minimum of 6 persons. Should you be only 3 or 4 friends attending as campers for example, then event organizers do reserve the right to ask you to share the large stands with other GTI ticket holders. The Warmbaths venue has space to comfortably accommodate the planned full capacity of Vdub enthusiasts provided that stands are not occupied by less than 6 people.
Note that the GTI ticket entitles the visitor to full event access, resort facilities and camping space only. All camping equipment, tents and sleeping gear must be supplied by the visitor himself/ herself. Only suitable, recognized tents, caravans and motor homes are allowed to camp in the caravan park. Sleeping in cars and bakkies is not allowed. Take note that all camping sites have power points and require a male 3-pin caravan plug for use, which is available from regular camping retailers or the resort shops. Note that specific camp stands cannot be reserved in advance, please ensure that you arrive early to select your preference of sites if needed.
Wolfsburg car draw: Should a supporter wish to enter the giveaway car draw they need to purchase the Wolfsburg Edition tickets online or from the show area sales desk. Revenue from the Wolfsburg project build supports several charity homes annually.
Please note that it is policy for the various Warmbaths accommodation units to be occupied according to their quota eg; 4 sleepers require 4 persons, and 6 sleepers require 6 persons for bookings. A supporter may therefore not book a 4 sleeper unit for only 1, 2 or 3 people at a discount. Full capacity for chalets, log cabins or hotel rooms must be purchased even if all the beds in a unit are not occupied.
Guests may also not sleep more people than the maximum capacity stipulated for each ticket type. All chalet accommodation is self-catering and there are general stores, food vendors and/or restaurants on site for catering and common supplies. Food vendors at the show area include halaal.
Please use ‘braai’ areas provided and please park vehicles at the designated areas.
Wear your ID wristband at all times. Management will not allow visitors who have lost their wristbands into the venue.
4] PLEASE NOTE THAT NO BRANDED SETUPS OR EQUIPMENT is allowed for shade, leisure or any other reason by spectators or contestants. Only plain unbranded camp chairs, umbrellas, gazebos etc are permitted. Should you wish to market or promote a commercial brand then please contact the organizers in advance regarding exhibitor stands, vending stalls or sponsor space. Displaying business visuals on camping or picnic setups without prior approval is addressed as ambush marketing and will not be tolerated.
Kindly note there is a R.O.A.R venue and event policy. There are no refunds for offenders and evictions.
5] Polo Day-visitors at the Campfest event have a separate parking area.
Only pre-registered Show & Shine day-visiting vehicles, and AutoPavilion ticket holders will have vehicles permitted into the designated main show areas. All other Day-visit supporters have a specified parking area and will reach the main show section by foot. There is a “cash payment at the gate” option for Polo day-visitors in 2025. We do however encourage supporters to secure tickets beforehand to avoid disappointment. The volume of attendance is unpredictable at Warmbaths, due to its significant popular appeal, and once the venue reaches maximum capacity only pre-sold ticket holders will be permitted entry.
6] The venue is fully licensed to sell alcoholic refreshments.
*Day visitors are not permitted to bring alcoholic drinks.
Overnight visitors are allowed to bring their own alcoholic beverage and food but please note the following conditions:
· No glass bottles are permitted into the event. Please purchase refreshments in cans and decant liquor spirits into plastic/ aluminium containers ahead of the event. If visitors do not adhere to this rule then please note that we cannot keep your bottles safe on your behalf until the end of the festival. Abandoned or confiscated items will be entirely discarded.
· Consumption of liquor is allowed at the chalets, camping area and main show area however no beverages or food is permitted at the swimming pools.
· No drunken or disorderly conduct will be tolerated.
· Please plan your outing responsibly as always we discourage any drinking and driving.
7] DISCLAIMER: While organizers make every effort to host a safe event please note that all facilities and activities on the resort are used entirely at your own risk.
All entry tickets will be scanned at our gate box office. Please ensure that you do not buy tickets off the street and we strongly advise against the purchase of second hand tickets via social media. These “private sale” tickets are often clone copied and illegitimate, and will not pass the entrance scanners. Please also note that the event organizer may lay charges of fraud against a fake ticket bearer regardless of where he claims he may have purchased the replica ticket from.

No unruly behaviour and no firearms/ weapons/ dangerous objects will be allowed at the event.
Persons and vehicles entering or leaving the resort may be subject to a search.
No pets are allowed on the resort, with the exception of guide dogs for the visually impaired.
Kindly note that venue water restrictions apply during certain periods of the year. No washing of cars outside of the official car wash areas is allowed.
Please note that this is a child friendly event and NO SPINNING, SPEEDING or excessive revving of vehicles will be tolerated at the venue. Perpetrators will be evicted without refunds, have vehicle wheels clamped and/or may face charges for any actions that could be considered harmful to other visitors.
We urge all patrons not to indulge in any illegal substances and we will have provincial law enforcement authorities on site to deal with transgressors.

Q(1): I want to attend but I'm worried about unforeseen things like Covid causing problems for events. How safe is my ticket purchase?
A: Substantial consultation is done with industry stakeholders to plan for safe events. However it is fair to state that there are no absolute guarantees. The events, tourism and hospitality industries prepare and develop rigorous protocols for future operations but the absence of event risks are never a certainty. For this reason the event and Forever Resorts group may offer Fail-Safe dates however refunds are not possible. We therefore advise public to only support the future event industry if they fully understand the potential risks.
Q(2): I want to buy tickets but the website says "booked out". What does that mean?
A: Booked out ticket listings means that supporters have reserved bookings for all the available space for that type of ticket. Bookings happen extremely fast on ticket launch day due to public demand. However each supporter is given a limited time to conclude payment for a booking. If payment is not submitted then tickets will be returned to the system and made available for other supporters to buy. This cycle will continue until all "booked out" tickets have been paid and the status will change to "sold out". Keep visiting the site daily (and refresh your screen) for unpaid tickets that may become available again.
Once "sold out" is indicated it means that all ticket bookings have been paid and no further space will be available for that ticket listing.
Q(3): What does "Secondary Sale Options" mean?
A: These are previously purchased tickets that have been uploaded by supporters who are no longer able to attend the event. The pre-owned tickets are then listed for sale at this website link which can be found under each ticket category name.
If you are interested in buying the tickets you can purchase them by following the payment process on the website. The bar codes and reference numbers will then be automatically changed and updated to your individual details.
Pre-printed VW dealership GTI ticket buyers can also upload their tickets for sale on the website if needed. Please do not buy any tickets via social media adverts that are not listed for purchase on the official website. Any payment that a seller asks for that does not take place through the website purchase cart is likely to be a scam for cloned or fake tickets. The website transaction platform is the only safe method to ensure the verified transfer of tickets.

Q(4): How does the Wolfsburg give-away car work?
A: Any visitor over the age of 18 who has a driver’s license can win the car. Event representatives will draw Wolfsburg Edition wristband numbers on the main stage. If your wristband number is announced you could take ownership of the car keys. Q(5): What are Taigo tickets? and if I stay at Elephant Springs when do I enter the main Warmbaths area?
A: Taigo chalets and hotel tickets are replacing the previous additional accommodation spaces that were offered at Pendleberry Lodge. They are more comfortable and in line with the standards that Camp Fest supporters expect.
Taigo ticket holders at Elephant Springs have access to the main resort facilities on both Saturday and Sunday. Friday is not an official motorshow day and is therefore not included. Should Taigo ticket holders wish to use Warmbaths amenities a day early then they are welcome to visit the Warmbaths resort as a day-visitor for the extra day. Normal day-visiting rates and rules would apply. Tickets for Friday day-visitors can be purchased at the resort entrance and provides normal access from 8am to 5pm.
Note that waterpark facilities, restaurant, bar, jet ski and picnic area amenitites are included for day-visitors but the hydro usage is for Warmbaths on-site overnight residents only.
Q(6): If I stay at Taigo Elephant Springs chalets and I have friends at Tiguan chalets can we hang out together?
A: Tiguan ticket holders do not have access to Taigo units. Likewise Taigo ticket holders do not have access to Tiguan units. The separate types of accommodation ticket holders need to meet friends in the main show area or swimming pool and picnic areas. Please also note that due to capacity limits camping guests cannot occupy or sleep in chalets, (and vice versa) chalet guests cannot sleep at the camp sites.
Q(7): Check-ins for accommodation is from 15h00 on the Friday of the event weekend. What time does check-ins end? Can I come in at 2am in the morning?
A: The main gates close at 22h30 and re-open at 07h00 in the morning. Please plan your arrival before closing time or after 7am the next morning. Any other arrival time requires the ticket holder to wait for the venue gates to open. Kindly ensure that you have arranged all your needed supplies/ food and have them brought with you inside the resort during the day, pass outs will for safety concerns not be possible after operating hours.
Q(8): If I attend as a day-visitor where exactly do I park?
A: Warmbaths Resort has 2 designated parking areas adjacent to the main resort entrance where day visitors are permitted to park. There will be security personnel to keep a watchful eye on vehicles while supporters enjoy the motorshow. Should you wish to enter your car into the main venue area then you need to either pre-register for the Show And Shine competition or purchase an Auto Pavilion ticket (limited quantity) for non-competitor VAG vehicles.
Q(9): What time is the Afterfest and who can get access?
A: The Afterfest takes place on Saturday evening from 18h00 to 00h00. All residents (on-site and off-site accommodation visitors) as well as GTI and TCross campers get access. Sadly all Polo day-visitors have to leave the resort by 5pm and will not be allowed to attend the Afterfest.
Q(10): How many cars are allowed to enter the Show And Shine competition?
A: The judging panel scrutinizes roughly 400 vehicle pre-registration entries beforehand. Approximately 180 of those are shortlisted as successful contestants to display their vehicles at the main motorshow. Ultimately 30 of the vehicles that have then been judged on the main stage will be selected as category winners, with 1 finalist being crowned Best Of Show for the current season.
Q(11): I want to display my car at Show & Shine how do I enter?
A: The Show & Shine pre-registration is free and takes place via the event website submission as from 1 September 2024 to 25 January 2025. Note that all resident visitors can take their car into the venue but not all visitors can display a car at the Show & Shine competition space. Pre-registration means that your car will go through a selection process with a panel of judges before the actual event, and only successful applicants who the judges deem fit to compete are given a registration approval. All submissions do receive either a "successful" or an "unsuccessful" registration notification via email before the show. Approved vehicles will receive a dash board (official SA Camp Fest contestant) display form by 28 January 2025.
Submissions can be done even if the vehicle is not completed yet, by adding “In Progress” with your description.

Q(12): What other activities happen at the motorshow?
A: The Sound-Off, Low Limbo, Dyno and other motorshow related programme content will be announced ahead of the event. The entertainment line-up will also be detailed on the event social media at regular monthly intervals.
Q(13): The Crafter Bus crew camping venue is really interesting. Can I pay it off in stages?
A: Unfortunately all attendance tickets need to be paid once off in full. We suggest collecting upfront payment portions from crew members as quick as you can and then buying the ticket to secure the space. Purchasing of any event tickets needs to be done as early as possible because Camp Fest tickets do sell out very fast.
Q(14): Why do festival tickets cost more than a normal visit to the venue at another time of the year?
A: The festival is an expensive special event to host. The exclusivity of the venue for the motorshow requires substantial upfront funding and the national laws for extraordinary large events (the Gatherings Act and the Sports & Recreation Act) dictates that a significant amount of expensive logistical changes need to be made at the venue for the congregation of a large crowd. Further factors are the costly audio visual setups and the unique main stage, the Wolfsburg giveaway car and show prizes which include an international tour, the Afterfest entertainment, the vast security deployment, safety officers and medical standby services, licenses and structural certifications, public liability insurance and event attorney services, additional ablution and sanitation, access control fencing and bar code scanning equipment, VIP areas, marquees and furniture, the custom DJ booth, Dyno machine and Sound-off service providers, event memorabilia and souvenirs for supporters, print and online media advertising, there are outsourced services that are too many to list here. Note must also be made that the festival takes a full 12 months of planning, equipment and physical work every year and this requires resources that is not possible to accomplish at zero cost. Lastly, it would be a tragedy to provide nil support to the charities who desperately rely on the assistance that the event provides to the orphanages annually. So while organizers always keep ticket prices to the lowest possible rate, the event brand does depend on a marginal increase to make the objective of hosting an awesome festival achievable.
Q(15): Can we not check out of chalets later than 11h00 on the last day of the event?
A: The check-out time is unfortunately a normal venue reservations guideline that we have to adhere to.
Please plan a cooler box if you still have any food items left over in your chalet. Alternatively consider an Extended Stay booking for accommodation.
The check-out time stipulation applies for both public supporters and event exhibitors.
Q(16): I would like to arrive earlier than Friday, or leave Warmbaths later than Sunday. Is it possible to do this?
A: Supporters are welcome to book for additional days to prolong their stay. Early arrival can be done by getting a Vor Dem Fest ticket that corresponds with your main event attendance ticket. Longer stays after the festival can be done by purchasing a Fest Layover ticket that corresponds with your main event attendance ticket. These tickets are not purchased directly on the website but via an optional Extended Stay email link that is sent to all attendees who have purchased a main event ticket. The first link in the email is for ealry arrival and the second link in the email is for late departure. If you have not received a separate email with Extended Stay links then please contact the Quicket office to resend the email. This email is often caught in your junkmail or spam folders so be sure to browse your mailbox to check for it.
Q(17): What are the new ID.4 and ID.Buzz tickets about?
A: Both are GTI camping options that offer access inside the main resort and have Extended Stay automatically included. These have been loaded to save supporters the effort of having to do multiple transactions with the Extended Stay links.
If you wish to buy the standard GTI ticket and do extended stay add-on later you can still do so. The value of a second release GTI ticket (R1150) plus an Extended Stay purchase (R450) is equivalent to buying a single ID.4 ticket (R1600).
Just keep in mind that the traditional split transactions ultimately means additional booking fees at Quicket and your bank, so a single transaction ticket is a smart way to save you cost and time.
The ID.4 category is for Thursday arrival until Sunday - 4 days access.
The ID.Buzz category is for Wednesday arrival until Sunday - 5 days access (limited special quantity of only 200 tickets).
Fest Layover (late departure) for the Monday after the event can be added to these if desired.

Q(18): I really enjoy Camp Fest and never miss it. Is there anything different happening for the 16th Edition show?
A: Firstly the outstanding venue where there are often new developments and upgrades offers a great experience for supporters. Secondly the organizers always have a few surprises in the event programme, staging structures and layout to make it a memorable festival. We can’t give away too much information beforehand otherwise it wouldn’t be a surprise ;)
