Join us for 67 minutes of making a difference!

Come spend your 67 minutes building kennels for the cold pets of Khayelitsha. It’s the perfect opportunity to bring your friends, family or work groups together for a fun-filled and meaningful time.

Entries are donation based to help us cover the cost of materials used to build the kennels. Let’s give these furry friends a warm and safe place to stay.

Two events:

20 July (public – quicket ticket required)

18 July (corporate – book at marcelle@mdzananda.co.za).

What to bring along:

-          A hammer per person

-          Measuring tape per person

-          Pencil per person

-          Paint brush per person if you wish to paint your kennels

-          Comfortable clothing that can get dirty

-          Sunscreen and caps

-          Water to stay hydrated 

-          Snacks if you feel you will get hungry

We will have some cool drink and biscuits available.

Non-essential, but if you have please bring along:

-          Paint 

-          Varnish

-          Nails (ranging between 3.5cm and 5cm)

-          Hand saws / electrical hand saws

We will provide:

-          Drinks to quench the thirst

-          Wood from deconstructed wooden pallets

-          Nails

-          Varnish

-          Electric saw

-          Staff to assist with cutting

-          First aid kit

-          Lots of doggies and kitties in our hospital and surgery facility
