              SALTY ROOTZ.

A local St Francis and Eastern Cape Band.

There is no doubt that the music of the 60’S 70’SAND 80’S was melodic, rhythmic, and fun.

The words had meaning for many people then and these songs still hold a lot of wonderful memories. I see the immense joy that this music brings to people.

It’s now time to take it up a notch. More professional and smooth.

JOE VAN DER LINDEN.

I have played music with Joe here and there for many years. His work with his band the BROTHERS is well known.

Joe is a fine vocalist and exciting lyrical guitar player.

A muli-talented musician able to adapt to all styles.

Added to this, he is also a smooth funky bass player.

JAMES VAN MINNEN.

James, I have known for over 25 years

James is a talented and outstanding percussionist and drummer.

He has played with many top musicians in SA.

He has also collaborated on many exciting projects recorded in caves and around whales.

CHRIS COSTANZA.

Chris has been playing sax since he was a young man.

He has poured many hours into playing LEAD SAX on all these songs.

When he starts up on the tenor it’s like wow…….

MARC MAINGARD.

Singer songwriter guitar maker.

Starting at the tender age of 5 with harmonica and piano, Marc graduated to the violin and was playing in the Durban Youth Orchestra by aged 14. He changed to guitar in his early 20's and became a professional musician.

He brings 65 years of musical study, passion, dedication and worldwide experience.
