This Women’s Day it’s all about HEART… 

We celebrate and salute Ann & Nancy Wilson who have pioneered all things feminine Rock!

Maybe you discovered HEART in the 70’s with songs like: Magic Man, Crazy On You and Barracuda, now rightly recognized in the catalogue of rock classics?

Or, like me, you fell in love with HEART in the 80’s, the era of big hair, MTV and anthemic power ballads like: Alone, These Dreams and What About Love?

It doesn’t matter… If you’re a HEART FAN(atic) you’ll know that Ann & Nancy Wilson are celebrating 50 years in the music industry and The Royal Flush Tour 2024 is currently underway in America, Canada & Europe to celebrate just that.

Let me introduce myself… I am Jodine Clare-Talbot and I am South Africa’s #1 HEART FANATIC! I spent hours as a teenager with my shoebox tape deck and pencil (for precision wind back on the tape cassette to said phrase that needed multiple re-listens) trying to sing like Ann and learning to play guitar like Nancy.

Calling my HEART tribe… Join us at Café Roux as we present the hit songs and some of my personal favourites. Again, I am joined on stage by the dream team of Sarah McLaughlin on Electric Guitar and her mom, Jean Strydom (AKA Suzi) on Bass.
