Almal het daai klein stemmetjie in hulle kop. In die geval van Deuntjie, ’n skaam en pligsgetroue meisie, is daardie stemmetjie Vera – ’n groot diva met twee flambojante agtergrondsangers, Moses en Jacob, aan haar sy. Hulle smokkel sing-sing met arme Deuntjie se kop. Wanneer die baas trou en die hele kantoor genooi word, begin Vera vir Deuntjie oortuig om vir Karel, op wie sy smoorverlief is, te vra om as haar metgesel na die bruilof toe te gaan. Dinge ruk egter hand uit wanneer Deuntjie nie meer kan onderskei tussen die werklikheid en die stemme in haar kop nie. Sal Deuntjie haar eie stem kan vind?
Everyone has that little voice in their head. In the case of Deuntjie, a shy and dutiful girl, that voice is Vera – a big diva with two flamboyant backup singers, Moses and Jacob, by her side. They play mind games with poor Deuntjie. When the boss gets married and the entire office is invited, Vera starts convincing Deuntjie to ask her big crush, Karel, to be her date to the wedding. Things go south seriously when Deuntjie can no longer distinguish between reality and the voices in her head. Will Deuntjie be able to find her own voice?
