’n Kleimannetjie word wonderbaarlik tot lewe verwek deur die trane van jong Jake, ’n seuntjie vasgevang in sy ouers se bitter konflik. Jake het die knapie self uit klei geskep, maar nou is hierdie mannetjie ’n boodskapper met ’n missie: Hy móét ’n weggooibrief van Jake se pa wat hy gevind het, aan sy ma aflewer.
A clay figurine is miraculously brought to life by the tears of young Jake, a boy caught in his parents’ bitter conflict. Jake had created the little lad out of clay himself, but now this mini-man is a messenger with a mission: He must deliver a discarded letter from Jake’s father, which he found, to Jake's mother.

Jana en Chris word ná ’n moeilike aand wakker. Nie een van hulle het veel geslaap nie. Elkeen is vasgevang in hul eie gedagtes, maar daar is iets swaar en onuitgesproke tussen hulle. Jana and Chris wake up after a tough night. Neither of them has slept much. Each is caught in their own thoughts, but there is something heavy and unspoken between them. Jana is quiet, but something is brewing in her. Chris walks on eggshells around her. He tries to reach out, but she remains withdrawn. Through the awkward flow of their morning routine, the events of the previous night are gradually revealed. Jana is injured. A festive meal was interrupted, and there is blood in various places in their house. An intimate observation of a tragic personal loss while life drags on relentlessly.
