From its earliest beginning as The Hawaiian Soul Brothers, and the better known Damn The Icebergs, the pared-down ensemble of Dave Shortland, Robbie Marshall, and Craig Bosman, became One Man Down - aptly named because as a three-piece, they only met up and played when they weren’t “one man down”.
One Man Down is made up of three of the original band members of Damn The Icebergs, who have been playing together for nearly 30 years.
Now and again, Dave, Robbie, and Craig emerge from the band cave to entertain their die-hard fans, friends, and family, who otherwise might easily assume that they’re just a band of drinking buddies, and they’ll be emerging in early August this year!
The band only plays original music, and the musical styles range from grungy establishment protest songs to some brutal but beautiful ballads of love and loss.
