Busamed Lowveld Medical Arts and Culture Society Gala Evening 2024

ABOUT

Following the overwhelming success of the 2019 and 2023 events, Busamed Lowveld Private Hospital together with the Lowveld Medical Art and Culture Society are pleased to once again host the Medical Music and Arts Gala Event on the 14th of September 2024. The event is predominantly aimed at creating awareness and generating funds for local NGO Pediatric Care Africa.

Pediatric Care Africa provide care and bear witness to the overcoming of barriers to health and to the realization of the right to health for all.

Some of their efforts include the supply of medicines and medical equipment, provision of baby food, formula and health supplements to pregnant mothers as well as the provision of specialist surgery for children born with physical defects or who have suffered trauma. The event has a secondary purpose in which local medical professionals who have an interest and/or talent in arts and culture will be able to showcase their talents to their colleagues. The previous events in 2019 and 2023 received considerable interest from medical professionals eager to showcase their extramural skills in the form of display arts and musical/talent performances.

The event further offers some amazing raffle prizes, as well as spot prizes that will be given away at the event.

Tickets cost R 750 each and includes a MasterChef canapé competition with a 3-course gourmet dinner with wine pairing by Beyers Truter from Beyerskloof Wines.
