ABOUT

OVERVIEW

The SA Auto Week has positioned itself as Africa's leading and preeminent automotive thought leadership event. Established in 2022, the SA Auto Week has experienced a steady progressive growth in bringing together industry leaders for forward-looking discussions while we present indispensable networking opportunities for automotive professionals and other delegates attending the conference and visiting our dynamic pavilion and exhibition spaces.

Distinguished as the only annual B2B auto event of its kind in the continent, the SA Auto Week has consistently attracted global Original Equipment Manufacturers [OEMs]; vehicle component manufacturers and suppliers; lawmakers; regulatory bodies; policymakers; international investors; industry leaders and decision-makers across the entire automotive value chain. The 2024 edition of the SA Auto Week is our third instalment of this prestigious event, and we are proud to host this year’s event at the Cape Town International Convention Centre [CTICC], Cape Town, Western Cape Province from Tuesday, October 15 until Friday, October 18, 2024.

Under the theme "Reimagining the Future, TOGETHER: Celebrating 100-Years of Automotive Heritage, Passion, and Ingenuity”, this year's event will be a centenary grand commemoration of the South African automotive industry since its inception in 1924.

At the SA Auto Week, meaningful conversations about future innovation; latest technologies; changing and evolving government policies; and global best practices and benchmarks will be on the conference agenda to advance and promote the development and growth of the SA auto industry and the country’s economy. The main salient features of this year’s event will include:

  • Media Day [a full-day event];
  • 2-day African Automotive Indaba and Conference [with four stages and more than 20 thought leadership discussion panels and expert presentations];
  • Captains of Industry Gala Dinner;
  • A dynamic Centenary Pavilion and Exhibition; and
  • naamsa Accelerator Award Gala Dinner.

naamsa will also host its Q4: CEO Advisory Council meeting and its Annual General Assembly at the sidelines of this year’s SA Auto Week event.
