Tea with a Farmer: Oranjezicht City Farm

Running Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings throughout the Food Indaba 2024, Tea with a Farmer takes guests on a tour of the Oranjezicht City Farm, perhaps Cape Town's most famous urban farm.

Hosted by farmers Melanie Stewart, Ryan Ausker and members of her team, guests are welcomed with a cup of farm-grown herbal tea, and then guided around the farm, learning about its history, sustainable farming practices, organic gardening, and the importance of urban agriculture.

The tour runs about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Tea is included in the ticket price.
