Peter Martens leads an ensemble of seven Cape cellists, including the young Korean cellist Gunwoo Park, 1st prize winner of the International Cello Competition in Italy. Cape Town soprano Frances van Vuuren performs the solo in Villa-Lobos’ fifth work from the popular Bachianas Brasileiras. This concert forms part of a series of concerts that will be recorded for www.artmusic.tv and broadcast by RSG.

Peter Martens lei ’n ensemble van sewe Kaapse tjelliste en die jong Koreaanse tjellis Sang-Hyeok Park, derdepryswenner in die 2023 Tsjaikofski-kompetisie in Moskou. Frances van Vuuren tree as solis op in die uitvoering van Heitor Villa-Lobos se vyfde werk uit die gewilde Bachianas Brasileiras. Die konsert vorm deel van ’n reeks wat vir www.artmusic.tv opgeneem en deur RSG uitgesaai sal word.
