The Portswood Cafe

ABOUT

Part of the Dialogues through Food Sustainable Seafood series

THE EVENT

Taking place at the newly constructed Portswood Café at the V&A Waterfront's Portswood Ridge Precinct, this once-off dining experience spotlights sustainable seafood opportunities, in conjunction with Abalobi.

The Portswood Café is a food and beverage space built entirely from salvaged and recyclable waste materials from other construction projects at the V&A. It looks onto a thriving urban farm. The café is operated by PureGood, who will be hosting this event on Sunday 4 August 2024.

The Café is a fitting venue for a menu that showcases sustainably sourced seafood as part of a harvest table, telling stories of the fishers catching the fish and seafood, the coastal areas where these items are sourced, and the challenges and opportunities that eating these items presents.

A selection of special guests bring perspective and depth to the experience.
