Join RESERVOIR in collaboration with FEDE and Art School Africa in presenting a conversation with artists Xhanti Zwelendaba and Ben Stanwix. Xhanti Zwelendaba and Ben Stanwix have developed a collaborative art practice that spans 6 years of co-creating. Their most recent project follows research into an archive of South African postage stamps. They use this material to reflect on the historical invention of national identities in South Africa.
Zwelendaba and Stanwix will join the curator of iSenzo Sak’dala — a group exhibition at RESERVOIR that forms part of the HEAT festival — and founder of FEDE, to discuss their dual and individual exploration into art practice, allowing a deep delve into their works on exhibit.
