Join us for an evening of elegance, empowerment, and entertainment as we celebrate Women’s Day with a sparkling event dedicated to the celebration of the feminine spirit. 

Highlights to look forward to:

— Burlesque Workshop & Performance: Dive into the art of burlesque with an exclusive workshop with Lady Magnolia from the Rouge Revue, followed by a dazzling performance by the headmistress herself.

— Solo Blues Class: Enhance your dance skills with a soulful solo blues class, perfect for dancers of all levels.

— DJ Sets Featuring Women in Jazz: Dance the night away to a special lineup of DJ sets, spotlighting the best female jazz and blues artists from the Swing Era.

FAQs:

• Can men join? Yes! Men are absolutely welcome to join the event, and they’re welcome to join the burlesque workshop as well. While the event is centered around celebrating women, it’s open to everyone (adults only though) regardless of gender.
• What music will be played? Our DJ will play a variety of genres catering to both the CTS crowd (blues, r&b, swing etc.) and burlesque (lots of female vocals!) – should be GREAT fun to dance to.
• But I don’t dance? ?You don’t need to be a dancer to join the event, you can just mingle and enjoy the vibes. But there will be a Solo Blues Intro Workshop at 7:45 PM if you want to try that out.
• What do I wear? ?The dress code is “Jazz Age Glam” – and that spans 1920s flapper, to glitzy showgirl, to 1930s-‘40s lindy hopper, and anything tangential. Glitter & glam is good. Men, suit up if you can.
• How much burlesque will there be? ?Burlesque will only be for 45 minutes of the whole evening – the rest is mingling & dancing.
• What bubbles are we talking? ?There will be all the bubbles!
