Trenchtown Band Nights presents a night of soul, jazz infusion and zamrock n the heart of Obz at the legendary venue Trenchtown, 134 Lower Main Road.

On our spectacular double bill we present the finest of Cape Town's scene:

i-SO and Friends

i-SO is an artist and composer hailing from Gqeberha entertwining neo-soul sensibilities with jazz, alternative rock and hip hop influences. Boasting an impressive set of collaborators such as Lukhanyo and the Hii Rollers and Kila G, i-SO is establishing themselves as a respected artist in the scene, known for his dynamic vocal range and expressive performances. We're so excited to present i-SO to you accompanied by a live band of excellent local musicians.

Operation Khataza

Fronted by Sanele Blaai, Operation Khataza are the sonic rebels pushing the bounds of our music scene with their infectious blend of jazz, funk, zamrock, kwaito and spoken word. The 5 piece band's unique sound is a captivating blend of Afro-futurist nostalgia, with a distinctly expressive in it's avant-garde performance and defiant genre-bending. Operation Khataza are one of the most exciting projects to emerge from the Cape Town scene and we are blessed to offer them our stage.
