Workshop Description:

Join Jacques Mollentze, founder and artist of MEANDER, for a Watercolour Workshop designed to transform your everyday experiences into beautiful art. Explore the art of watercolour as a medium for capturing memories and stories in a bespoke art journal. The session will immerse you in new themes and diverse landscapes, teaching you techniques to preserve moments that resonate deeply with you.


Workshop Overview: Discover how to use watercolour to document your life's adventures, from simple breakfast scenes to breathtaking landscapes. Learn under Jacques' guidance as he shares his skills and personal stories, guiding you through creating your own vibrant art journal.


What to Bring: Bring your own 300gsm cold pressed watercolour journal if you have one, if not paper will be available. All other art supplies will be provided, including watercolour paints, brushes, palettes, and more. Optional supplies like masking fluid and watercolour pencils are welcome.


Time: 14:00 to 17:00 be there 15min in advance to grab a coffee and settle in.


Venue: 136 Bree St, Cape Town City Centre, Cape Town, 8000

A barista will be available at the cafe for snacks and drinks. Please settle your bill at the end of the workshop.


Workshop Goals:

Cancellation Policy:

As a business in the art industry, the success of my workshops relies heavily on ticket sales. When you purchase a ticket, it secures your place and prevents others from attending. To ensure fairness and maintain the quality of my events, I have a strict cancellation policy:


  1. More than 14 days' notice: You can transfer your booking to a future workshop free of charge.
  2. Between 7 to 14 days' notice: I will attempt to resell your tickets. You will receive a Workshop Voucher for future use.
  3. Less than 7 days' notice: Unfortunately, I cannot resell your tickets. Consider giving your spot to a friend or family member.
  4. Illness or COVID-19: If you are unable to attend due to illness or COVID-19 related reasons, please notify me as soon as possible. I will attempt to resell your tickets. If successful, You will receive a Workshop Voucher for future use.
  5. No-shows: "No call, no shows" will not be refunded or eligible for rescheduling.
