Dié inisiatief gee aan feesgangers toegang tot plaaslike kunstenaars se skeppende ruimte. Deelnemende kunstenaars is op vasgestelde tye in hulle ateljee beskikbaar, terwyl van hulle ook in ateljees op die Blaauwklippen-wynlandgoed gehuisves word. Klim op ’n feesbussie in Ryneveldstraat en besoek die onderstaande ateljees in en om Stellenbosch.

Besoek Klara-Marié se ateljee waar sy pigment, verf en kuns maak, en kom kyk waar sy haar alchemiese prosesse pleeg: Klip, klei, roes, as, plant en gogga word tot kleurstof fyngemaal; oliepapperye word tot verf getransformeer; en onverwoordbare gedagtes word aan opper­vlakke afgesmeer.

This initiative gives festival-goers access to the creative spaces of local artists. At set times, participating artists are available in their studios. Some of the artists are also housed in studios on the Blaauwklippen Wine Estate. Consult the guide to book a studio visit with your favourite artists. Hop on a park ‘n ride shuttle and visit the studios below across Stellenbosch and surrounds.

Klara-Marié makes pigment, paint and art in her studio. Come and see where she performs her alchemical processes. Stone, clay, rust, ashes, plants and bugs are finely ground into pigment. Oily substances are transformed into paint; and preverbal thoughts are transferred onto surfaces
