A glass of wine, two concerts, two venues, fourteen musicians and a short walk. Your ticket buys you entry to two concerts on three possible routes performed at homes within walking distance from each other. These 24-minute concerts immerse sonic art into contemporary architectural spaces and explore the acoustics of built spaces with music styles matched to the paired homes in the Mostertsdrift and Karindal neighbourhoods. This concept is the brainchild of flautist Esther Marie Pauw. Tickets are limited and include a glass of wine or grape juice.

Met ’n kaartjie vir Sonic Place 20:24 gaan gehoorlede na twee kort konserte in huise wat loopafstand van mekaar is. Altesame 14 musikante bied op drie musiekroetes onderskeidelik jazz, vrye improvisasie en klassieke musiek aan, en elke konsert duur 24 minute. Die konsep, waarin die klank-akoestiek van geboude ruimtes verken word, is die breinkind van die fluitspeler.

Esther Marie Pauw, en daar word geeksperimenteer met musiekstyle wat pas by verskillende huise in die woonbuurte Mostertsdrift en Karindal. ’n Beperkte aantal staan- en sitplekke is beskikbaar, en gaste kry elk ‘n glas wyn of druiwesap.
